Over the years, I’ve come across so many amazing bands, especially in Los Angeles, that lack proper representation. This year, I decided to take the initiative to promote the bands I like by producing a dedicated CD for each band.
Here’s what you need to do:
Send me (see address below) or drop off a CDR of your music at the store along with all your information (track listing, logo, social media links, website, etc.). I need a minimum of 8 tracks for a full CD. If you have fewer than 8 tracks, I can include your music in a compilation or a split CD with another band(s).
ONLY Punk, Hardcore, Garage, Thrash, DBeat etc..
Here’s the deal:
- Limited Run: Only 100 CDs will be produced (Headline Records will never repress it).
- Your Rights: All rights remain with the band. Headline Records only holds the right to produce 100 CDs.
- Royalties: Bands receive 25% royalties, which translates to 25 CDs free for you.
- Promotion:
- Your CD will be sold at the store with a special display promoting local bands.
- The retail price at Headline Store will be around $4.99/$5.99 (subject to minor adjustments).
- Your CD will also be available on the Headline Records website, with a dedicated section for local bands (coming soon).
- We’ll promote your music on our podcast, The Punk Show (ThePunkShow.com).
The goal is to help promote your band and spread the word about your music.
