There's a fuckin' excellent balance here.. they have TONS of Australian attitude with riffs galore a la the Cosmic Psychos and Onyas and they run right over Motorhead - but in their own car because they're not copycats. It's a very fun listen with song titles like \"Pair Of Those\", \"Devils Pride\", \"Purple Helmet\" and \"High Time\" which should give you have a fair idea of what to expect. Meatbeaters also have that unique heaviness that's inherrent in many Aussie punk 'n' roll bands. Take \"Cold Embrace\", for example: it has a Powder Monkeys vibe in the heaviness and just flat out fuckin’ rips. You like Cosmic Psychos? Then you’ll love the Meatbeaters!  Recommended.
